Our Story begins with a single jar, carried door-to-door by a Grade 10 learner, to a vision that stretches across a continent—this is the story of Manepe.

Our founder, Tshiamo Khoeli, knows the taste of resilience. While navigating the challenges of school, he was also learning to survive on his own. With no resources but an unwavering will, he began by selling other honey brands, then created “Top Bees”, his own brand. Every sale was a lesson, every rejection a step forward, building a business one doorstep at a time.

That humble beginning evolved into Ba Ahi (Pty) Ltd and our product transformed into Manepe—a name that reflects the sweet, golden reward of relentless effort.

Our Mission is to build on that gritty foundation, striving to become the leading honey brand across Africa.
